Dr Amit Kalla (AK) is a Consultant Anaesthetist who provides sedation services at Grange Farm Dental Practice. He has over 25 years of experience.

Dr 'AK' did his initial medical training and anaesthesia speciality training from Mumbai, India. He is a 'Gold medallist' in anatomy and has done a fellowship in cardiac and neuro anaesthesia. He further enhanced his anaesthesia training in Oxford and was conferred his fellowship of Royal College of Anaesthesia in 2008. He is registered with General Medical Council (GMC: 5209248).

He is trained in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS) as well as in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS).

He is heavily involved in teaching and training of undergraduate and postgraduate medical students from Oxford as well as from Buckingham medical schools. He works as a senior anaesthetist at Milton Keynes University Hospital and is the Lead Academic tutor and Deputy Regional Advisor for Anaesthetics for the Oxford Deanery.

Dr AK is passionate about delivering a safe, patient centric, high standard of quality care. He provides sedation to anxious patients in a friendly and a relaxed environment which helps in enhancing the patient experience.
